Gynecology & Obstetrics
Women's reproductive health, antenatal follow-up, cervical cancer screening, and obstetric consultation.
Ndengera CBC Polyclinic is a licensed polyclinic in Rubavu District. It has provided outpatient consultation, maternity and delivery, inpatient care, laboratory diagnostics and 24-hour emergency treatment to the Western Province since 2010.
Triage is open at every hour. Patients are assessed on arrival and seen in order of clinical severity.
Request an outpatient consultation online and receive a reference number for the reception desk.
Delivery rooms are staffed at every hour by certified midwives, with an operating theatre available.
Haematology, biochemistry, microbiology and rapid tests are processed on site, most within the hour.
The Ndengera Foundation opened a single outpatient consultation room in Rubavu District in 2010, so that families did not have to travel for a fever, a delivery or a sick child.
It is now a licensed polyclinic with ten departments. The clinical staff are registered physicians, midwives, nurses, laboratory technologists and pharmacists, and every diagnosis and prescription is explained to the patient in a language they use.
