Ndengera CBC Polyclinic began as a single consultation room opened by the Ndengera Foundation in 2010, answering a plain need in Gisenyi: somewhere reliable to bring a fever, a birth, or a worry. Years on, that room has grown into a fully accredited, 24-hour polyclinic serving Rubavu District and the families who cross the border to reach it. What has not changed is who it was built for.
The board carries responsibility for the direction, clinical standards and stewardship of Ndengera CBC Polyclinic.

That single room grew methodically: an accredited diagnostic laboratory, dedicated 24/7 labour suites, ultrasound imaging, and a regulated pharmacy — each added as the need for it became undeniable, never ahead of the community's trust.
